This policy governs the management of bot accounts owned by humans and the application, granting, downgrading, and removal of the bot user group for human-owned accounts.
The following bot accounts are excluded from this policy due to their non-human ownership:

- MediaWiki default accounts → MediaWiki default[More]

- The username should be recognizable as a bot account
