Evil Neuro/Appearance Changes Before Independent Model

Due to Evil initially being a product of a temporary project (where Neuro conversed with herself), Vedal had no intention of creating a new character, so when designing Neuro’s V2 model, he didn’t commission anny to design an appearance for Evil.

After Neuro switched to the V2 model, the audience’s demand for a return of “Evil Neuro” grew significantly. Additionally, the community opposed using the new TTS model originally planned for Neuro. As a result, Vedal decided to develop Evil as an independent AI and assigned the TTS model to her instead.

However, since Evil’s permanent inclusion was unexpected, she remained without a distinct appearance. Throughout the V2 model era, her appearance was essentially a recolored version of Neuro’s V2 model. Over time, small adjustments were made to further distinguish her from Neuro, unlike Neuro’s unaltered use of her V2 model until the next model update.

This situation persisted until Evil's 2nd anniversary, when her model was updated to her own V3 model. The following details all adjustments made to her recolored V2 model appearance before she obtained an independent model.

V1

On 25 March 2023, the original Evil, planned as a temporary character for the project, used a version of the Hiyori Momose model with red eyes and raised eyebrows to signify her as the “evil version” of Neuro using the Hiyori Momose model. However, at this stage, Evil was no different from Neuro aside from appearance and name, essentially acting as a copy of Neuro.

V2

Initial Appearance

On 4 June 2023, Evil returned to streaming as an independent character due to community requests and Vedal’s decision. Previously, on 27 May 2023, Neuro had already switched to her independent V2 model. Since Evil’s permanence hadn’t been planned, she temporarily used Neuro’s V2 model with completely blackened eyes and raised eyebrows.

First Modification

On 10 June 2023, Evil conducted her first solo stream (previously, she had only streamed alongside Neuro). More recoloration was added to further distinguish her from Neuro. Her appearance at this stage featured red eyes, a dark purple headband, and a bronze hairclip based on Neuro’s V2 model.

Second Modification

On 25 June 2023, anny provided a major update to Evil’s appearance based on recoloring Neuro’s line art. The foundational appearance and color scheme were finalized at this point, with subsequent changes being minor implementations of anny’s character design for Evil before switching to her new independent model.

Her appearance at this stage featured red eyes, a black top, a red ribbon, a dark red tie, and black hair accessories, based on Neuro’s V2 model. However, her eyebrows were no longer raised as they had been previously.

Third Modification

On 9 July 2023, the issue of Evil’s eyebrows not being raised was treated as a bug and fixed. Her appearance now featured red eyes, a black top, a red ribbon, a dark red tie, black hair accessories, and raised eyebrows, based on Neuro’s V2 model.

Fourth Modification

On 19 November 2024, Evil’s hair accessory was updated to the black broken-heart design from anny’s character design. Her appearance now featured red eyes, a black top, a red ribbon, a dark red tie, black broken-heart hair accessories, and raised eyebrows, based on Neuro’s V2 model. This appearance remained consistent until 25 March 2025, when Evil received her independent non-recolor model during her 2nd anniversary birthday stream.
