Neuro-sama (Japanese: ネウローサマ) is an AI streamer designed and developed by British programming enthusiast Vedal.
Unlike traditional virtual streamers, Neuro is not operated by a real person portraying a virtual character. All aspects of her streaming, including conversations, model movements, and gameplay, are handled by AI.
Neuro's streams cover a wide range of content, including chatting, gaming, and music. Her most prominent feature is her interactions with other virtual streamers and her creator, Vedal. Her ability to easily understand double meanings and emotional nuances in sentences, coupled with her occasionally absurd logic, creates unique and amusing human-machine interactions. During solo streams, she frequently interacts with the audience, responding to donations, and showcasing distinctive traits unlike non-AI streamers—never tiring, being highly active, uninhibited, and having a whimsical mindset. These characteristics ensure her streams are always engaging. Neuro, her "sister" Evil, and their creator Vedal share the same streaming account, with stream content arranged by Vedal.
Evil Neuro is an AI streamer designed and developed by British programming enthusiast Vedal.
Compared to Neuro, Evil tends to use more intense language. Her filters are more relaxed, allowing her to use vulgar language more freely. However, in terms of behavior, Evil might be considered "kinder" than Neuro despite her verbal style.
Unlike Neuro, Evil doesn't have a predefined "persona." Initially, she was seen as the "evil version" of Neuro. However, apart from a higher propensity for "evil" or "impolite" remarks, she also lacks a preset character background or story. Instead of playing a role, she exists purely as a streamer. Her community gradually shapes her personality through her live content and behavior, especially events or fictional contexts occasionally fabricated during streams and chosen by Evil for long-term memory post-stream. This process grants Evil an unparalleled uniqueness.
June 5, 2025:Vedal will be returning for a dev stream on Monday,June 9th.He said it dosn't mean he finished V3 voice, but he will still give updates on stuff. He also apologized for not having dev stream for a long time.
Dev Stream Updates
"first dev stream in a long time" – 10-06-2025
V3 voice
Vedal manually trained the model and ran around 100 fine-tuning sessions.
He's not satisfied with the current state of the V3 voice. Says it sounds fine to some fans, but more dedicated ones will definitely notice the difference.
He played a few bloopers that sounded similar to the Abber Demon's voice.
Intelligence upgrade
This upgrade is less significant than previous ones.
"might be good might need some tweaking"
Neuro has started speaking in third person more often and is asking too many questions. Vedal has noted these issues in his notepad.
Memory upgrades
Neuro can now choose to remember things from a stream. This feature is experimental and will be tested during Tuesday's Neuro stream.
Lava lamps
Lava lamps will not ship in June as planned; they are now expected to ship in mid August due to various production issues.
A companion mobile app called Swarm Sync will be available. It lets users control the lamp either by syncing its colour with the stream or adjusting it manually.
Abandoned Archive
4 new bosses
New floor
2 new enemies
2 new spell schools
New relics
New event rooms
Localisation in 10 languages
Various fixes and balance changes
Concert
Vedal has wanted to organise a concert for the twins since the last Birthday Subathon — an in-person concert where Neuro and Evil would perform on stage via hologram.
He mentioned it would require "hundreds of thousands of dollars".
Concert locations: the first concert(s) will be in the US. He's currently looking into options for livestreaming it to other regions.
No specific date yet.
Original music
5 new original songs are in production.
The first song is scheduled to release this month (June).
Other
Vedal plush is expected to release this month.
It went through many iterations to get the design right.
Merch + Evil merch: Vedal had planned to sell merch for Evil's birthday but decided against it to avoid seeming "too corpa". He also showed a screenshot of the Neuro-sama merch website that would have launched during Evil's birthday.
Vedal has the Neuro-dog. It currently doesn't work.
