Vedal987 is a programming enthusiast from the United Kingdom and the creator of the AI VTubers, Neuro-sama and Evil Neuro. He is responsible for the development and maintenance of Neuro and Evil.

Since March 2023, Vedal currently uses a small green turtle as his avatar. He shares all streaming platform accounts with Neuro and Evil, and appears sitting on top of Neuro or Evil’s head during dev streams or when playing games with them, chatting, and showing his presence in the stream. Sometimes, Vedal makes guest appearances on other streamers’ broadcasts; if it’s a planned collaboration stream, the little turtle avatar will be placed on top of the streamer’s avatar.
He is claimed to be largely self-taught, with an IQ of 200, and is skilled in various programming languages used to develop Neuro, including C#, Python, and Unity. He is born and currently lives in the United Kingdom and enjoys games like Dwarf Fortress, PUBG, and Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies. He also likes drinking banana rum.
Reportedly, he took a break from university during his studies and fully committed himself to the AI VTuber project. Currently, he works full-time from home on this endeavor.
Compared to other VTubers, Vedal is quite low-profile and doesn’t see himself as a VTuber. He refrains from sharing much about his real life in order to avoid overshadowing Neuro on the channel. However, due to his charming personality, entertaining streaming style, and well-planned content, he is also considered one of the key figures behind the success of Neuro’s channel.
After meeting Vedal in person, Filian once said, “Vedal and Neuro are very similar,” although it’s unclear in what way she meant.
Persona
Like his two daughters, Vedal does not have a defined character background or lore—this is because he explicitly does not see himself as a VTuber, or even as a regular full-time streamer. The only real piece of “lore” would perhaps be the simple and obvious fact that he is the “father” of Neuro and Evil.
However, in daily streams and on collab streams with other VTubers, some traits have been taken as Vedal’s characteristics, usually for communication or entertainment purposes, derived from his virtual avatar or what he says about himself. For example: “Vedal is a turtle” (he calls himself a “professional turtle” in his X bio), “Vedal is bald,” “Vedal is a super hacker” (he also says in his X bio that he’s a “level 5 certified hacker”), and so on.

Personality
In early streams, Vedal came across as shy and introverted, often rambling or seeming flustered. As he streamed more over the years, he became more confident and composed to the point where he is no longer acting that way.
Overall, Vedal's personality and attitude depend heavily on who he's interacting with. He can seem cold or indifferent—especially in his attitude toward the community—but also shows a soft and caring side toward his creations and close friends.
In general, he gives off a distant and expressionless vibe, with a very blunt and straightforward way of speaking.
He largely fits the stereotypical image of a “STEM guy,” whether that’s something he does intentionally for effect or simply a reflection of his true self.
